What do I need to do to start selling to the Norwegian Market?

To get started in Norway you will have to contact Skatteetaten (Tax Office Norway) and apply for either an MVA registration or a VOEC registration. If you are selling products below 3000 NOK a VOEC registration or MVA registration is both optional. If you plan to sell products with a value of over 3000 NOK you should register for an MVA registration. Please contact Skatteetaten for further discussion regarding what’s best for you. You will also have to make sure what’s expected from you when it comes to sending goods as Norway is not a part of the European Union.
