Labeling electrical products
According to current product regulations, an electrical product must always:
- be CE marked
- be marked with a type designation or model designation (identification of the product)
- be marked with which current and voltage it is intended for (marking data)
- be marked with the manufacturer's name and postal address
- be marked with the importer's name and postal address (if the manufacturer is not located within the EU/EEA)
- have a Swedish plug
- have an instruction manual and safety information in Swedish
CE Marking
An electrical product that you buy within Europe must be CE marked. It is the manufacturer's assurance that the product meets all the regulations and safety requirements imposed on it based on EU directives. Products brought in from countries outside the EEA must also be CE-marked. More information about the CE mark can be found under Marking and instructions on the Help center.
